Welcome to the Stafford Legacy!

This is the tale of Emory Stafford, a princess from the 1600s that accidentally finds her way into our time. Please start from Generation 1: Chapter 1 (link in the side bar on the right) if you are new to the legacy!

Also, please check out my visual art blog, An Artist's Journey, and give me feeback! I'm looking to learn and grow :) Link is embedded in the bold title.

Just testing the waters... welcome!

Hey there!

I have some great ideas for a new legacy that I want to start after Christmas when I get Late Night... but I've never posted a story in blog form before, so I want to test the formatting a little bit first. So I'm going to use pictures and stories from my current legacy, which is in it's 9th generation of existence. Enjoy, and let me know what you think or how I could improve before I begin with the Stafford Legacy!

Thanks!
Clausula Vera, recently grown up, grabs a nightime snack of waffles.

She can be a bit of a snob, but when your Interior Designer career has taken off as much as hers has, you can afford to be!

The family has already begun to decorate for Christmas! How festive!

Current head of the home, mommy Jan takes good care of baby Emory, all while keeping up that Christmas spirit!

Toddlers that receive lots of love and care grown up to be the best children!

And, in what seems like no time, baby Emory has become a child! How time flies...

Destined to be the heir of the household, Emory is learning at a young age how to fit in to high class society. After all, her family is the most wealthy in the neighborhood!

Meanwhile, Grandma Belle is trying to figure out the computer. After a lifetime of writing as an author, you'd think she'd be able to use the computer without breaking it. But...

Alright, there you have it! I really like the formatting here from the edit screen... let's see how it looks live! Feedback is definitely appreciated! My actual story will be a LOT better than this one... I just took some screenshots I recently took to practice with. Thanks!

  1. Looks great! My only suggestion is to actuall zoom in and take the pictures, not just snap one the first second you can. It makes for a better story if you actually really set up the pics and make it look like you were standing there with a camera.

  2. I agree with the above comment. Perhaps, pause the game, raise your walls and such. :) I'll be here when the legacy starts!

  3. Thanks, you guys! Yes, I've gotten a lot better at taking pictures, these were just screenshots I had lying around that I could practice with :) Still working on the camera skills, though! Thanks!
